Janet and I went to Citrusdal (citrus fruit growing area) over the Easter weekend and stayed at the Cederberg Lodge. Was rather warm but we made the most of our time there - swam in the swimming pool at the lodge, went to Clanwilliam & Lamberts Bay on the Saturday morning, watched the Stormers beat the Lions on the big screen TV in the pub. Saturday evening we had a braai (barbecue) with Lisa & Stephen who were camping at the Citrus Creek caravan park. Walking back to the lodge after the braai, we saw the most amazing meteorite (very bright), heading behind the Cederberg mountains. On Sunday we went to the hot springs (The Baths) and discovered a lovely restaurant there (McGregors), where we had breakfast. On our way back from The Baths, we decided to do some quality control checking and picked a couple of oranges at one of the orchards. Good thing the farmer wasn't around (with salt 'n pepper gun in hand). :)
