Baby Leah at 1 month old

At birth Leah weighed 3.48kg but lost some weight while undergoing treatment for jaundice. Her weight dropped to 3.09kg but she has picked up weight since and at the last weigh-in a week ago, she was 3.8kg. A baby at this age usually picks up between 120 - 200g a week, so I guess that by now her weight should be close to 4kg. According to Dylan, she is an excellent baby and doesn't cry very much, except around bath time, some nappy changes and when she is hungry. Wendy expresses milk, which means they are able to share the feeding duties. Wendy goes to bed at about 9pm and then they do a "shift handover" at 2am. Leah is getting into a routine where she has a good feed at 11pm and sometimes sleeps through the night, or at least until about 6am. Her routines are like any normal, healthy baby. She is very attentive to her surroundings when she is awake and tends to stare at everything around her. She also loves to be held and cuddled and is absolutely adorable.
