Blue Bulls - Super 14 Champions 2007

The Blue Bulls have become the first South African team to win the rugby Super 14 competition after narrowly beating the Sharks 20-19 at the Absa Stadium in Durban on Saturday. Bryan Habana became the hero of the Bulls when he scored a try after the final hooter to steal victory from the Sharks.
While the drama of the Super 14 rugby final was being played out in Durban, torrential rain and strong winds lashed the Western Cape, causing many roads to become flooded and causing damage to buildings. A South African Weather Services forecaster said snowfalls over high ground and showers were expected in Cape Town on Monday. Light snow was falling in the mountains above Ceres on Sunday.
