Father's Day was on Sunday 17th June, 2007. Lloyd spent the weekend at #44. I received some lovely gifts from Dylan, Gareth and Lloyd - a humorous card, a jacket, salami, camembert cheese & a bottle of whisky (Clan Campbell, of course). Thanks guys!!.
For lunch, we tried something that I have not done before and that is to smoke a turkey in the Weber with honey and orange glaze. I must say, it turned out pretty good for a first attempt (see attached picture) . We cooked some buttenut squash sprinkled with a pinch of salt and cinnamon sugar on the Weber as well. Janet made some roast potatoes and cauliflower in white sauce to complete the meal. Hope all the other fathers out there, had as good a day as I had.
