Friends for a braai

We had some friends around on Saturday to watch the rugby Test match between South Africa and England, which was comfortably won by the Springboks (SA) by 55 points to 22. Andre, Alyson, Val, Lynn, their children, Janet's sister Lauren and Melissa were present.

Shortly after the rugby match had finished, Andre and I fired up the Weber, in preparation for one of South African's favourite pastimes .... a good old fashioned braai (barbecue).... lamb chops, beef sausage, beef steaks, pork rashers, marinated chicken wings with garlic potatoes, Italian bread, roasted vegetables and a tossed salad.

Later we had Brandy pudding and Tiramisu for dessert and overall, we spent a very pleasant afternoon / evening together.
